| Description:
| Starna Spectrophotometer Flow Cells, Micro, Short Path Length
|
| Physical Configuration: |
Fully masked cell with rectangular aperture, dimensions see charts below, optimized for the lowest volume. See a demonstration of sample flow |
| Primary use: |
Absorption measurement in useable range (see charts below) |
| Clear windows: |
Two |
| Instrument: |
Designed for use in spectrophotometers with a beam width up to 3 mm |
| Path lengths available: |
0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2 mm |
| Aperture dimensions: |
3.5 mm wide x 17.5 mm high |
| Available 'Z' dimensions: |
15 mm (can be used with Z=8.5 and Z=20 also) |
| Usage note: |
The Type 74.35 cells are suitable for use with Z=8.5 and Z=20 insturments as the sample chamber is tall enough to accommodate the full range of Z dimensions when using a Z=15mm cell. Pathlengths of 0.5mm and less incorporate by-pass tubes to avoid excessive backpressure and assist in creating a laminar flow through the sample compartment. |
| Connections: |
Quartz tubulations are permanently fused to the top of the cell which allow for simple and secure push on or sleeved connections using flexible tubing such as silicone rubber, PTFE or PVC. The tubulations attached to the top of the cell are 2mm ID, 4mm OD and 10mm long (approx.). |
